Fields and data collection

Twelve input fields for collecting the visitor's email, phone and other answers.

They sit on the "Blocks" tab, in the "Lead capture" and "Forms" groups. All of them go both into a quiz and onto a paywall, except "Explicit consent for sensitive data", which is quiz-only. Block settings open in the right panel when the block is selected.

Most fields have "Label above the field", "Placeholder" (a grey hint inside an empty field) and "Required": an empty required field does not let the visitor move on, and on a paywall it does not let them pay.

Where the collected data goes:

Email

A field for an email address. Use it when you need a contact: only this block creates a record in "Leads". Settings: label, placeholder, "Required". Does not: check the address on a paywall; an email with a typo lets the person through to payment but does not get into "Leads".

In a quiz, the address is checked for the shape of an email, an "@" sign and a domain with a dot: while something unlike it is entered, the screen does not let the visitor move on, even if the field is not required. If the visitor passed "Explicit consent for sensitive data" without the tick, the quiz does not save the email from that point on.

Text field

A line for a free answer. Use it when the answer does not fit into options: a city, a goal, what the person has already tried. Settings: label, placeholder, "Required". Does not: check the answer or create a contact from it, even if the person types an email there.

Checkbox

A single tick with a label, "I agree" by default. Use it for consent or for a question with a "yes or no" answer. Settings: "Label next to the checkbox". Does not: become required from the panel; it has no "Required" switch.

It does not replace consent to the terms of purchase: for a paywall there is the "Terms checkbox" from the "Payment" group (Prices and payment), which is required from the start and does not let the visitor pay without the tick.

A tick with which the visitor allows answers about health, body, faith or mental state to be saved. Use it in a quiz with such questions and put it before the first of them. Settings: the consent text and "Separate consent to sharing with partners", a second tick that is on from the start. Does not: stop the visitor: without the tick they move on, but their answers and email from this screen are not saved.

The first tick allows saving answers, the second allows passing them on: without it, answers are saved but do not go to partners, ad networks or external analytics. Your emails to the visitor and events to your server do not depend on the second tick.

The quiz will not publish until the block stands before the first sensitive question on every visitor path, branches included. In these cases the AI places the block itself:

A block that a "Logic" rule shows or hides does not count as consent.

Phone field

A line for a number; on a phone it opens the numeric keyboard. Use it when the person will be contacted by phone. Settings: label, placeholder, "Required". Does not: check the number format, add a country code or create a contact from the number.

Date picker

The calendar of the visitor's device. Use it for a date of birth or a desired start date. Settings: label, placeholder, "Required". Does not: limit the date range; the calendar look and date format are set by the device, not the cabinet.

Number field

A field for a number. Use it when an exact value is needed and the person knows it. Settings: label, placeholder, "Min value", "Max value", "Required". Does not: check the limits; they apply only to the field's arrows, and a number typed beyond them goes into the answer. For weight and height there are "Weight picker" and "Height picker" in the "Questions" group, with a unit switch.

A closed list: the visitor opens it and picks one item. Use it when there are many items and screen space matters more than visibility: country, size, profession. Settings: "Options" (up to thirty), label, placeholder, "Required". Does not: style the open list; the visitor's device draws it, and the funnel design does not reach it.

Star rating

A row of stars with which the visitor gives a score. Use it when the visitor gives the score. Settings: "Label", "Max number of stars" from three to ten, alignment, colour and size of the stars, "Required". Does not: show other people's reviews; a ready rating with a number of reviews is "Review rating" from the "Media & social proof" group.

Slider

A handle between the minimum and maximum value. Use it when precision is not needed: a budget, hours a week, a level from one to ten. Settings: label, "Min value", "Max value", "Step", "Required". Does not: answer until moved; the handle sits in the middle, but that is only a look, and there is no answer until the visitor moves it. If you need an answer from everyone, turn on "Required".

Toggle

A second tick with a label that can be turned on in advance. Use it when you offer something on by default. Settings: "Label next to the toggle", "Default state". Does not: look like a switch; on the screen it is the same square tick as the "Checkbox", and it has no "Required".

A tick turned on in advance that the visitor did not touch does not get into the answer: it is not in "Answers", and a "Logic" rule does not fire on it.

Name field

A line for a name with the hint "Your name". Use it when you want to address the person by name later in the funnel. Settings: label, placeholder, "Required". Does not: store the name separately from other answers; the block differs from "Text field" only by the ready hint.
