Translate a funnel

Add a funnel language, proofread it and give ads a link to the right language — 10–20 minutes per language, mostly proofreading.

This is the language your funnel visitors see. The cabinet's own language is set separately — Account and security.

Before you start

Step 1. Check the source language

Open the funnel in the editor. Right of the “Quiz | Paywall” switch is a language code button, e.g. “RU” — the “Language” menu. Its first row is the source language, marked “source”.

“New funnel” sets Russian as source whatever you write in. For texts in another language, click “Change the source language…”, pick it and click “Change language”. Otherwise the AI translates “from Russian”, and player strings — “Continue”, “per month” — stay Russian.

Quiz and paywall have separate source languages — check both.

Step 2. Add a language

  1. In the “Language” menu click “Add language”.
  2. In “Add a translation” pick a language. The price “up to 6 cr.” is charged by text volume, never more.
  3. Click “Translate”. The language appears under the source.

The AI translates all text visitors read; player strings come ready-made. Images are not translated — text on them stays.

The paywall is translated separately. Switch to “Paywall” and add the same language. Otherwise visitors take the quiz in their language but see prices in the source.

Portuguese and Chinese have general and regional variants, e.g. “(PT)” and “(PT-BR)”. The general one reaches everyone with that browser language, a regional one only exact matches. Unsure — pick general.

Step 3. Proofread and fix the translation

Pick a language in the “Language” menu — the phone shows the translated funnel. The right panel cannot edit text in this mode. To go back, pick the “source” row.

To fix a translated string:

  1. In the “Language” menu click the pencil in the language row — “Edit the translation by hand”.
  2. Fix the text in the “Edit the translation” window and click “Save”.

The edit is free and live at once, no republishing. Change that string in the original later, and the AI retranslates over your edit.

Delete a language or order it again

The bin in the language row — “Delete the translation”. It vanishes at once, without confirmation; visitors in that language see the source.

No “translate again” button: delete the language and re-add it. That costs credits again, and manual edits are lost.

What happens after publishing

Each publication catches translations up itself: the AI translates only changed strings, for 1 to 6 credits per language per part; publishing without text edits is free.

While a translation lags, its visitors see the whole funnel in the source language, never a mix. The reason shows next to the language in the “Language” menu:

MarkWhat to do
“the source changed”, “the model returned only part of the strings”, “the model failed” (the model here is the AI translator)nothing: the translation catches up on its own
“not enough credits”wait for credits: the catch-up resumes on its own, no republishing needed. Where credits come from — Plan and limits
“the source language changed”nothing urgent: visitors still see the translation. If texts have changed since, delete the language and add it again

The “Top up the balance” link in the low-credits message leads to an empty page for now. Open the wallet by clicking the balance at top right.

How a visitor gets their language

The funnel page has no language switcher. The language comes from the first available of:

  1. the lang parameter in the address, for example ?lang=es;
  2. the language of such a link already opened in this tab — kept on all steps and after returning from payment;
  3. the first language in the browser settings.

With no translation into that language, the visitor sees the source — the choice does not fall through to the next item.

A Spanish browser gets the Spanish translation without the parameter. Use it when the ad language matters more than the browser's — e.g. a campaign for Spanish speakers in the US.

Take the address from the “Public URL” column of the funnel list (“Funnels” section) and add the code from the brackets in the “Language” menu — Spanish reads “Spanish (ES)”. You get https://promo.yoursite.com/?lang=es. If the address already has a question mark, e.g. with campaign tags, add it with &: https://promo.yoursite.com/?utm_source=facebook&lang=es.

Write a regional code with the region in capitals, as in the menu: ?lang=pt-BR. The language is set the same way in an A/B test address.

Only the published address with ?lang= shows the translation as visitors see it. “Preview” in the funnel list and the editor preview always show the source.
