Account and security

You will switch the cabinet language, protect sign-in with a second step and learn how to regain access if you forgot your password — each action takes a couple of minutes.

Where it all is

Click your name or email at the top right and choose “Personal settings”. The “Settings” page opens with tabs on the left:

“Account” — the name and avatar colleagues see in team tables;
“Security” — password, two-factor authentication and account deletion;
“Personalization” — here you change the cabinet language, theme and time zone;
“Organization” — the organization name and its team; see Organization and Project and team.

Cabinet language

The cabinet comes in Russian and English. The language is chosen at sign-up: if the browser is Russian or English, its language is used, otherwise English. After that the language is stored in your profile and is the same on any device. Emails with codes come in it too.

The funnel language for visitors is a separate setting: Translate a funnel.

To change the language, open “Personal settings” → “Personalization” and in the “Interface language” line click “Русский” or “English”.

If the cabinet is in Russian now, the path is: name or email at the top right → Личные настройки → Персонализация → Язык интерфейса → “English”.

The sign-in and sign-up screens have no switch. They show the language you last worked in on this device, and on a new device they take the browser language.

Password

Change it. “Security” → the “Change the password” card: enter the current password and the new one twice, then “Change the password”. Do not remember the current one — click “Change by email”, and the cabinet asks for a code from an email instead.

Forgot your password and cannot sign in. On the sign-in screen, click “Forgot your password?” and enter your email. A six-digit code arrives; it is valid for an hour. Enter the code, then a new password, and click “Set new password”.

You sign in with Google. Such an account has no password, and the card is called “Add a password”. Click “Send a code by email”, enter the code and set a password. Without a password you cannot delete a project or the account.

On the sign-in or sign-up screen, click “Continue with Google”. If an account with the same email already exists, you sign in to it. Two-factor authentication, if on, asks for a code on Google sign-in too.

Two-factor authentication

With it, signing in to the cabinet asks for a six-digit code as well as the password. Turn it on if your Stripe is connected in the cabinet.

“Security” → “Two-factor authentication” → “Turn on 2FA”.
Confirm it is you: enter the password, or if you sign in with Google — go through Google sign-in.
Choose a method. We recommend “Authenticator app (TOTP)” — any sign-in code app on your phone, for example Google Authenticator. The second method is “Code by email”.
For the app, scan the QR code. For email, codes will come to the account address.
Enter a code to check that everything works.
Save the ten recovery codes: “Copy all” or “Download .txt”, then “Done — codes saved”. They will not be shown a second time.

Lost your phone — at the code step of sign-in, click “Use a recovery code” and enter one of the recovery codes.

Recovery codes running out — click “Generate new codes”; the old ones stop working. The protection is turned off with the “Turn off 2FA” button: you will need the current code and password, or one recovery code.

Delete the account

“Security” → “Danger zone” → “Delete the account”, then enter your email and password. Together with the account, organizations with no other owners are deleted, with all their projects. Deletion takes effect at once and cannot be undone.

Deletion will not go through while:

your organizations or their projects have other people — hand them ownership or remove them, as described in the “If a person leaves” section of Project and team;
the organization has active bought domains — what to do with them is on Domains;
a plan is paid — first cancel it in “Balance & plan”.
