Working in the editor
Find the editor button you need, reorder and delete screens, undo an unwanted edit and check the draft before publishing.
Your first funnel is built step by step in Build a funnel. Here are the tools you return to daily.
A funnel has two parts — the quiz and the paywall.
Where things are
Three columns:
- left — “Layers” and “Blocks” tabs, then “Tab icon” and “Funnel logo” fields, the “AI editor” chat at the bottom;
- center — a phone showing the selected screen;
- right — properties of the selected block.
Top bar buttons, left to right:
| Button | What it does | Details |
|---|---|---|
| “Back to the list” arrow | returns to the list of funnels or quizzes | — |
| name with a pencil | renames the open part | — |
| “Quiz | Paywall” | opens the other part of the funnel | the “Quiz and paywall” section below |
| language code, for example “RU” | translations | Translate a funnel |
| two curved arrows | undo and redo | the “Undo and redo” section below |
| “Theme” (or the theme name, “Custom palette”), “Style” | appearance | Appearance: theme and style |
| “Display: mandatory” — on “Paywall” only | whether the paywall can be closed inside the app without paying | line below the table |
| “Logic” | transitions and element display | Logic |
| “Version history” | past publications and rollback to them | Publish a funnel |
| “Domain” | address binding | Publish a funnel |
| “Preview” | the draft in a new tab | the “Preview” section below |
| “Save draft” | saves at once, without waiting for autosave | — |
| “Without a price”, “Price conflicts” | lead to the block that needs a price | Pricing and payments |
| “Send for review” | saves the draft and records it as a version for colleagues to review; if edits follow, the cabinet says so at publishing | — |
| “Publish” | releases the draft | Publish a funnel |
“Display: mandatory” offers three modes: “Mandatory — cannot be closed”, “Closable — button right away”, “Closable with a delay”. The mode applies only when the paywall is open inside your app; a browser shows no close button in any mode.
In a narrow window “Version history”, “Preview” and “Save draft” show icons only; names appear on hover.
Screens: add, reorder, delete
Screens live on the “Layers” tab.
- Add. Click the plus right of the “Screens” heading or “+” above the phone → “New screen”. It goes last, named “Screen” plus a number.
- Reorder. Drag the row by the six-dot icon left of the name. Visitors follow this order unless logic leads elsewhere.
- Delete. Click the bin in the row. No confirmation — only undo brings it back. Transitions to the deleted screen are flagged as errors: redirect them, or the visitor goes to the next screen in order.
Screens have no “Rename” or “Copy” buttons. Ask the AI editor in words to rename one.
With “Paywall” open, the screen row has a “Post-purchase screen” checkbox: the customer sees the checked screen after paying.
Blocks on a screen
A selected screen's blocks show under it in “Layers”.
- Add. Select a screen, open “Blocks” and click a type (search available). “+” above the phone → “Add block” does the same. The block goes to the end.
- Set up. Click the block in “Layers” or on the phone — properties open on the right. Each block is described in the “Editor blocks” reference.
- Reorder. Drag by the six-dot icon. A block moves only within its screen.
- Delete. The bin in the block row, also without confirmation.
Screen settings
Screen background and content layout are on the “Screen” tab of the right column, reached only via a block: click any block on the screen and switch “Block | Screen” at the top of the right column to “Screen”. A screen with no blocks lacks this tab — add a block first. What it sets — Appearance: theme and style.
There is no general quiz settings window: whole-part settings are in the top bar buttons.
Undo and redo
The top bar arrows undo and redo edits, as do Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z (Cmd on a Mac). With the cursor in a text field, the keys undo typing in that field.
Undo restores screens, blocks, logic and appearance. There are 50 steps back, shared by all edits, and typing in property fields uses them fast: each field change is a step.
History lives while this part is open: reloading, leaving the editor or switching “Quiz | Paywall” erases it. Then only a published version can be restored via “Version history”; if the part was never published, a deleted screen is gone for good.
An AI editor turn is undone by the “Undo” button on that turn in the chat, not the arrow.
Saving
Edits save themselves within seconds. The state shows by the name: “Saving…”, “You have unsaved changes”, “Saved”. Visitors do not see the draft: edits reach them after publishing.
One person edits a part at a time. If the draft changed in another tab or a colleague edited it, saving fails, the cabinet asks you to reload, and the last edit is lost.
Preview
“Preview” opens the saved draft of the open part in a new tab. A very recent edit appears there once “Saved” shows by the name.
| “Preview” | Published page | |
|---|---|---|
| What is shown | the last saved draft | the last publication |
| Who sees it | the project team signed in to the cabinet in this browser | everyone with the address |
| Contents | the open part only; the quiz ends with the “Thank you!” screen | the quiz, followed by the paywall |
| Payment | not accepted | accepted |
| Language | source only | the visitor's language |
| Analytics | not counted | counted |
The whole funnel's draft end to end opens via “Preview” in the funnel row's ⋮ menu.
The phone in the editor does not run the funnel: its buttons do not turn screens. The “Previous screen” and “Next screen” arrows above it follow list order, ignoring logic rules.
Quiz and paywall
The “Quiz | Paywall” switch mid top bar saves edits and opens the funnel's other part.
- It shows only when the editor was opened from the funnel list: via the tag in the “Contents” column or “Edit the quiz” / “Edit the paywall” in the ⋮ menu.
- If the other part is missing, an “Add a paywall” or “Add a quiz” button next to it creates an empty part and attaches it to the funnel.
- Each part has its own appearance, translations, undo history and versions.
AI editor
The chat at the bottom of the left column edits the draft from words: “make the button stand out more”, “add a screen with reviews”. Turns are paid; the price is under the input — see Plan and limits.
