Publish a funnel
You will bind an address to the funnel and open it to visitors — the longest wait is verifying your own domain, usually up to an hour, at most a day.
Before you start
Pro or Business plan. The free plan allows neither publishing a funnel nor buying or connecting a domain. What paid plans open — Plan and limits.
A built funnel with prices. Building it and connecting payments — Build a funnel and Pricing and payments.
If you answered “On your own” at project creation, you have no funnels: the menu section is “Quizzes”, and you bind the domain to the quiz. Same steps; read “quiz” for “funnel”.
Step 1. Choose an address for the funnel
A funnel has no own address: it opens only on your project's domain.
| If you… | Do this |
|---|---|
| have your own domain | Connect a separate subdomain for the funnel, for example promo.yoursite.com. The site on the main address keeps working, and subdomain records can be set without restrictions. |
| have no domain of your own | Buy a domain in the cabinet. The organization wallet pays, in credits: the purchase window shows the balance and the price and will not let you buy without enough credits. Credits come only as grants; they cannot be bought yet — Plan and limits. Renewal is automatic; no registrar records needed. Renewal and domain statuses — Domains. |
The first Pro subscription starts with a trial week, during which buying a domain is closed. Before the first subscription payment, only your own domain works — it connects at once.
Step 2. Buy or connect a domain
Open “Domains”.
Buy. Click “Buy a domain”, find a free name and confirm. The domain appears in the table as “Pending” (about ten minutes) — wait for “Active”.
Connect your own. Click “Connect your domain”, enter the full subdomain and click “Connect”. The window shows two records: TXT proves the domain is yours, CNAME sends traffic to us. Add both at the registrar and wait for “Active”: one record will not activate it.
Step 3. Bind the address to the funnel
In “Funnels”, click ⋮ in the funnel's row → “Domain”. The path depends on the domain's origin:
- bought from us — in the “Add a new subdomain” block, choose the domain, enter a subdomain name (for example
promo) and click “Use this subdomain”; - your own connected one — expand “Advanced: bind an existing domain to an arbitrary path”, choose the domain, keep the path
/and click “Bind”.
Your own domain in “Add a new subdomain” gets a new address needing another registrar record — no publishing on it at once.
Step 4. Publish
Same row, ⋮ → “Publish”. The address appears in the “Public URL” column: open it and go through the funnel as a visitor.
If publishing fails, the status stays “Draft”, and a message at the top shows the reason for a few seconds. Publishing is stopped by:
- a bound domain that does not work — expired, frozen or failed verification (what each status means); all bound domains are checked: one broken one blocks publishing even if another is fine;
- organization debt;
- empty terms and policy links in the “Terms checkbox” block — or a placeholder (
example.com,localhost) instead of links to your documents; - a quiz without an “Explicit consent for sensitive data” block before the first sensitive question. Sensitive means a question in a weight loss, health, pregnancy, mental state or faith niche, and a weight or height question in any niche, fitness included. Consent is checked on every visitor path: branching around the consent screen blocks publishing, and a block hidden by a visibility rule does not count;
- payment acceptance not connected, no price chosen, or a price that dropped out of the selection: another payment environment, another Stripe account, archived or deleted;
- conflicting prices on one screen — for example, a “Price block” and a “Buy button” with different own prices, or two “Plan selector” blocks. The editor's “Price conflicts” counter counts them — Prices and payment;
- a paywall with a “Return to app button” block — until the app connection is set up and every price on the screen has an access level; both are in Handoff to a developer.
Edits and stopping the funnel
Edits to a published funnel collect in the draft: visitors see the previous version until you publish a new one. How depends on the address binding.
- Address bound to the funnel (as in step 3): ⋮ → “Unpublish”, then at once “Publish again”. Between clicks, visitors land in the app store or, with no store links in the project, on a “not found” page. The editor's “Publish” button is greyed out for such a funnel.
- Address bound to the quiz or paywall itself (as in “On your own” projects): click “Publish” in the editor's top bar. The new version replaces the old; nothing to unpublish.
Restore a previous version. In the editor, open “Version history” and click “Roll back” on the one you need. Rollback publishes it at once, without unpublishing, and replaces the draft: later edits are lost. It affects only the open part — quiz or paywall. The project owner and admin publish and roll back.
The same menu item unpublishes for good. The address stays bound to the funnel, but visitors land in the app store or, without store links, on a “not found” page — do not leave an unpublished funnel under ads. To stop only sales and keep the funnel open, turn off payment acceptance — Payment settings.
Delete a funnel. In its row, ⋮ → “Delete”, then confirm — the address is freed at once. The quiz and paywall remain on the “Quizzes” and “Paywalls” tabs; delete unneeded ones there the same way.
