Project and team

You will create a project for your app, invite colleagues to it and give them rights — this takes 5–10 minutes, most of it deciding who gets which role.

How the cabinet is organized

The top level is the organization: it holds projects, the team, the plan and the wallet. A project is one of your apps with its own funnels, domain and payment acceptance.

Do not confuse the two settings pages: the “Settings” item in the left menu is the settings of the active project, while “Personal settings” holds your password, cabinet language, organization and its team.

Tabs of the project “Settings”:

TabWhat is thereWhere it is described
“General”project name, links to the app in the App Store and Google Play, project deletiondeletion — below, section “Delete a project or organization”; links — Handoff to a developer
“Members”the project team and invitations; any project's team can also be managed from “Personal settings” → “Organization” → “Team”, the “Project team” cardstep 3 below · Organization
“Payments” — visible to the project owner and adminStripe connection, the “How you take payments” answer, subscription rulesPricing and payments · Payment settings
“Analytics and pixels”ad networks and analytics systemsAd networks and pixels
“Context”the app profile — description, brand, audience, reviews — from which AI builds funnels; on Pro and BusinessGenerate a funnel with AI
“App connection”, for a project without an app — “Keys and webhooks”the link between funnels and the app, access keys and events to your serverHandoff to a developer

Step 1. Account and organization

Sign up with the “Create account” or “Continue with Google” button. If you sign up by email, a code arrives — enter it on the “Confirm your email” screen.

You do not need to create an organization: it appears together with the account and is named after your name or email, for example “ivan-org”. The owner can rename it: “Personal settings” → “Organization” → “General”.

Step 2. Project

While there are no projects, the top of the cabinet shows the “You have no projects yet” banner with a “Create project” button. Further projects are created from the list at top left or in the “Projects” section.

The wizard asks three things, all three on the first step:

The payment answer decides which cabinet sections you will see. If you answered “On your own” when creating the project, there is no “Store” section in the menu, and the “Funnels” section is called “Quizzes”. Later the project owner changes this answer — Payment settings.

The project appears only with the “Create the project” button on the last step of the wizard. If you close the wizard before it, nothing remains.

On Pro and Business, the wizard pulls the app's name, category and icon from the link, and after the project is created it analyzes the app description. The analysis is paid; its price is shown under the link field.

The number of projects depends on the plan: one on the free plan, five on Pro, unlimited on Business. Only the organization owner and admin create projects.

Step 3. Invite colleagues

To a project. Open “Settings” in the left menu → the “Members” tab and click “Invite”. Choose a method: a link or emails. In both cases you set the role and how long the invitation is valid: 1, 7 or 30 days, or without expiry. For a link you also set the number of uses — ten by default, one hundred at most. By email you can invite up to 20 people at once. Who you invited and with which role is shown below, in the “Active invitations” table, column “To / Role”.

If a colleague has no account, they create one right from the invitation and confirm their email.

To the organization. Open “Personal settings” → “Organization” → “Team” and click “Invite” on the “Organization team” card. Only the owner adds an organization admin, and only by the email of a person already registered in Subster. Here you also decide whether to give them access to money: the toggle is on by default, and the owner can change the decision later in the same table. Such an admin becomes an admin in all projects of the organization.

Step 4. Roles

To begin with, invite colleagues as Members: this role is enough to build funnels, and it does not let anyone accidentally put something unfinished live.

RoleWhat they can do
Project ownerEverything, including handing the project to another person.
Project adminEverything the same, except transferring ownership and money. Stripe keys, the choice of payment environment (live or test), the “how you take payments” answer, subscription cancellations and refunds — only the project owner. Cannot invite a second admin either.
MemberBuilds and edits funnels, but does not publish them. Sees analytics, including the “Leads” tab, only for their own funnels; the subscriber list is not shown to them. Does not change the team. Buys and renews project domains with credits from the organization wallet.
Retention manager (keeping subscribers)Views funnels, analytics and subscribers, runs emails and the “Leads” tab. Does not change funnels.

The role is changed in the “Role” column of the members table — by the project owner or admin.

Step 5. If a person leaves

Everything is done in the same tables where you sent invitations.

Delete a project or organization

Project. “Settings” in the left menu → “General” → “Danger zone” → “Delete the project”, then enter the project name and your password. If you sign in with Google and have no password, first add a password. Deletion is done by the project owner or by the organization owner or admin. These will not be deleted:

Organization. “Personal settings” → “Organization” → “General” → “Danger zone” → “Delete the organization”, then enter its name. Only the owner deletes it. The window lists what will disappear together with the organization and what currently prevents deleting it.
